I bring more than 23 years of service within Clark County government and currently serve in a leadership role inside the Clark County Recorder’s Office. As a proud SEIU 1107 union member, my career reflects deep institutional knowledge, operational discipline, and a sustained commitment to public accountability.
Throughout my 23-year career, I have worked directly with county commissioners, county managers, deputy county managers, department directors, community stakeholders, and residents across all seven commission districts. I have collaborated with each of the County’s 38 departments, gaining a comprehensive understanding of how local government functions and delivers essential services.
My experience across county departments and service in the Nevada Legislature gives me a comprehensive understanding of how local and state government intersect. I understand how statutory authority shapes county operations, how public budgets are structured, and how interdepartmental coordination ensures essential services function effectively.
My county experience includes service in Commissioners’ Offices, Administrative Services, Communications and Strategy, Social Service, and the Recorder’s Office. Through these roles, I developed expertise in capital improvement projects, grant underwriting programs, technology enhancements, personnel development, emergency management coordination, public communications, and public-sector budgeting.
I currently serve as Senior Training Coordinator in the Clark County Recorder’s Office and am a principal member of the administrative leadership team. In this role, I work across the Administration, Audit, Information Technology, and Recordation divisions to strengthen the internal systems that govern document processing, workflow alignment, and record integrity.
I collaborate closely with the Recordation Administrator and division leadership to support oversight structures that impact office services managers, recordation technicians, office assistants, and frontline personnel across the office’s 51-member workforce. My leadership focuses on structured workforce development, cross-training initiatives, modernization of administrative procedures, and measurable improvements in service consistency and productivity.
I am not an external observer of the Recorder’s Office. I am part of its administrative governance structure, contributing to the systems and operational standards that ensure documents are recorded accurately, preserved securely, and made accessible in accordance with Nevada law.
In addition to my county service, I served as a Nevada Assemblymember, strengthening my expertise in statutory governance, budget oversight, and intergovernmental coordination. I have also held executive leadership roles in major nonprofit organizations, including serving as President of Susan G. Komen Nevada and Chair of the Las Vegas Urban League Community Action Agency Board.
I hold an Executive MBA from the UNLV Lee Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Arizona.
I am proud to be endorsed by the retiring Clark County Recorder. That endorsement reflects confidence in my leadership within the office, my understanding of its statutory responsibilities, and my readiness to continue strengthening operations with stability and experience.
I believe recording is more than a technical process. It is a legal safeguard that protects property rights and public trust. I am prepared to lead the Clark County Recorder’s Office with experience, clarity, and disciplined execution from day one.
